I know I talk a lot about hiring people to help you, however here is a teachable moment. Make sure they know more than you do about their tasks. I have hired people that didn’t know how to do what they said they did. So what is the answer. Ask the right “specific” questions when interviewing them.
Hmmmm, I’ll have to give this some serious consideration. My new neighbors have 2 very polite teenage boys. One of the things that needs attention, but not MY attention, is sorting out my library and adding all the new books I’ve bought or traded in the last few years in the proper alphabetical place.
You won’t believe how quick, smart and easy to work with these new souls are Carolyn. They do need direction then watch them fly.
That hapenepd to me once too, when I was on my way to work, though it's a good thing I lived like 5 minutes away. Walked home and changed to a pair of heels instead.
Great idea. What you don’t like doing drains (pardon the word) your energy and keeps you from doing the things you are really good at.
hugs to all
